Student Showcase: Tinkerers with a Purpose

In this showcase, Binit, Andrew, Sam and Matt will showcase how they are using innovative technology outside of the traditional classroom.  Sam will present about his passion for building and flying drones; Andrew will highlight his work with 3D printers;  Binit will show the apps he has created and Matt will demonstrate a 3D printing product. Come see the amazing work these Seniors have accomplished.

Student Presentation: Basic Computer engineering and youth entrepreneurship through technology

In my section, I would like to teach basic computer engineering through Arduino, and how it can be taught in schools. Also, I would like to show how basic computer engineering can influence and inspire young kids to become more interested in the subject and gain useful tools.

Way Cool to Throwing Shade: Students’ Perspectives on Digital Learning

Teachers and administrators often have opportunities to learn about enhancing ed  tech. However, what do students think about it all? What ed tech works for them? What is challenging? How has the 1:1 classroom changed the way students learn, study, and collaborate? Middle school and high school students will provide insight on what works for them and what doesn’t. Their feedback in this session will help us to help them achieve in a 1:1 school.
