Authentic and Formative Assessment
Limited Capacity seats available

I hope to engage teachers in discussions about the concepts of formative and authentic assessments. I hope to demonstrate, through student examples, ways in which I have utilized technology in my classroom to formatively and authentically assess students in real and seamless ways. Also, I hope to explore some of the ways in which technology can simplify and transform the formative assessment process (as far as time and feedback) and drive instruction as a result.

Here is the link to my PRESENTATION!!

Instagram
Limited Capacity full

In the world of social media, Facebook is "old news". Most of our students are now on Instagram. Instagram is a fun way to share your life with friends through a series of pictures. It's all about staying connected through photos. You can take a picture with your mobile phone, then choose from various filters to transform the image into a photographic masterpiece. This session will review the basics of Instagram, set up accounts, learn privacy settings, and explore ways to monitor student's use of Instagram.
